SPRYNG ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH CREAKYJOINTS.ORG
Rheumatology is a paramount disease state for specialty pharmacies in 2020. With over 50 million Americans experiencing some sort of arthritis (American College of Rheumatology), coupling a shortage of rheumatologists in the USA along with an aging population underscores the need for effective care delivery to RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis – affecting about 1.5 Million in the USA) patients,
SPRYNG – as a network of high-performing, nationally distributed groups of specialty pharmacies – is pleased to work with GHLF and CreakyJoints to bring their tools, resources, and guidance to our members’ pharmacies and patients. By empowering our member’s pharmacists to be on the bleeding edge of Rheumatology guidance and access to educational resources, SPRYNG helps ensure that our pharmacists and patients continue to get the best in clinical leadership and guidance available.
GHLF and its arthritis patient community CreakyJoints, is a 20-year-old 501 (c)(3) non-profit patient advocacy organization that represents chronically ill patients and their caregivers across the U.S., throughout Latin America and in Australia. GHLF works to improve the quality of life for people living with chronic disease in a variety of ways: (a) through education of patients and caregivers on their disease and the importance trusting medical advice from their health care team; (b) making sure patients’ voices are heard in advocacy and research; and (c) advocating for improved access to care at the community, state, and national level.
